Pistoni Srl also offers the withdrawal service of Low Density Polyethylene, waste material of industrial production. After recovery, the polyethylene is submitted to a cleaning process, manually performed, that allows our company storing it in special boxes. Before storage, however, the product is subjected to a check, made with metal detector, and to a grinding process with granulator. After completing the steps just described, the polyethylene is settled into “Big Bag” and, thus, prepared for sale.

WHAT IS LOW DENSITY POLYETHYLENE (LDPE)?
The Polyethylene terephthalate is a polyester family polymer and it is a special thermoplastic resin, also suitable for food contact. This polymer may exist in amorphous form, and it will be transparent, or semi crystalline, and it will be white or opaque. It has used in many fields because it has electric properties, chemical resistance, performance related to high temperature, self-extinguishing, quick printing.

It is also called PET, it was invented in 1941, but just in 1973, thanks to the chemical patent Nathaniel Wyeth, the production of bottles derived from this polymer began. Recently, its use has grown up. This wide diffusion is particularly due to some of its properties which make it really suitable for continuous production processes that allow it to be recycled.
